Indianola Chamber of Commerce Announces Annual Chamber Celebration: A Night of Fun, Connecting, and Recognizing the Best

Indianola, [January 4, 2023] — The Indianola Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to invite the community to “Shine On”, the Indianola Chamber Annual Celebration. The night of festivities, networking, and recognition will be held Friday, January 19th, from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM at Simpson College’s Hubbell Hall.

"This event is not just about celebrating achievements; it's about celebrating each other and the spirit of our community. We hope that you can join us for the fun!" said Amanda Zwanziger, President & CEO of the Indianola Chamber of Commerce.

Event Highlights:

Attendees can look forward to a fun and casual VIP experience filled with surprises, delicious dinner and drinks, networking opportunities, and an evening of celebration and dancing. This year's event promises a unique and memorable experience with the addition of ASEDJ's 3D lighted dance floor, 360-degree photo booth, a DJ and more. Whether you prefer cocktail attire or denim chic, you are invited to come dance the night away.

Nominate Outstanding Achievements:

The Chamber is currently accepting nominations for its annual awards, which now include two new award categories. People are encouraged to submit their nominations by January 8th to highlight the remarkable accomplishments within the community.  Nomination details and submissions can be completed at www.indianolachamber.com/annualdinner.

• Business Excellence Award: This award celebrates a Chamber business that has demonstrated remarkable growth or enhanced profitability through innovation in business practices, a superior customer service philosophy, or significant improvement to their commercial property.

• New Business of the Year Award: The New Business of the Year Award recognizes a recently established Chamber business that has shown exceptional achievements and positive impact since its inception. This award celebrates innovation, community engagement, and notable contributions to the Indianola business landscape.

• Distinguished Chamber Leader Award: Presented to an individual who has shown significant and notable contributions and leadership to the Indianola Chamber of Commerce and/or the Indianola community. The recipient of this award embodies excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession, providing valuable service by devoting time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community.

• Employer of the Year Award: The Employer of the Year Award honors an outstanding Chamber organization that has demonstrated excellence in employee development, community engagement, innovation in workplace practices, and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive work environment.

• Employee of the Year Award: Acknowledging an individual of a Chamber organization who has demonstrated outstanding dedication, leadership, and contributions within their role, positively impacting both their workplace and the Indianola community.

• Educator of the Year Award: This award recognizes an outstanding educator who has demonstrated exceptional commitment, innovation in teaching methods, impact on learners, community involvement, collaboration and leadership in education, and a positive influence on education.

• Volunteer of the Year Award: Celebrating an individual who has demonstrated exceptional commitment, dedication, and contributions as a volunteer, making a significant impact on the Indianola community through their selfless service.
