Indianola Chamber of Commerce Announces 2025 Annual Award Winners

Indianola, Iowa [January 12, 2026] — The Indianola Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2025 Annual Award winners. Each year, the Chamber recognizes individuals and businesses that demonstrate exemplary service, leadership, and commitment to their profession and to the Indianola community. Award recipients will be honored at the Indianola Chamber Annual Celebration on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Hubbell Hall on the Simpson College campus.

The New Business of the Year Award recognizes a recently established Chamber business that has shown exceptional achievements and positive impact since its inception. This award celebrates innovation, building investment, community engagement, and notable contributions to the Indianola business landscape.

Employer of the Year Award Winner
The Employer of the Year Award honors an outstanding Chamber organization that has demonstrated excellence in employee development, community engagement, innovation in workplace practices, and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive work environment.

Employee of the Year Award Winner
This award recognizes an individual within a Chamber organization who has demonstrated outstanding dedication, leadership, and contributions within their role, positively impacting both their workplace and the Indianola community.

Distinguished Chamber Leader Award Winner
This award is presented to an individual who has shown significant and notable contributions and leadership to the Indianola Chamber of Commerce and the Indianola community. The recipient of this award embodies excellence, creativity, and initiative by devoting time and energy to improve the quality of life for others.

Simpson College’s Emerging Leader Award Winner
The award recognizes an individual under the age of 40 who demonstrates leadership, vision, service and involvement within the Indianola Community and surrounding region, and who has established a reputation of character and trust for others to emulate.

Educator of the Year Award Winner
This award recognizes an outstanding educator who has demonstrated exceptional commitment, innovation in teaching methods, impact on learners, community involvement, leadership in education, and a positive influence on education.
Jessica Howe
Steven G. Pfeifer Volunteer of the Year Award Winner
This award celebrates an individual who has demonstrated exceptional commitment, dedication, and volunteer service, making a significant impact on the Indianola community through their selfless service.
Bobbi Gladson
Indianola Young Professionals (IYP) Leader of the Year Award Winner
The IYP Leader of the Year Award honors a young professional who demonstrates leadership, engagement, and a strong commitment to the Indianola community. The recipient of this award is recognized for their involvement, mentorship, and positive influence within IYP and beyond.
Paula Chew, Indianola Chamber Champion
Chamber Champion Excellence Award Winner
This award recognizes an individual who consistently goes above and beyond in supporting the Chamber through active involvement, advocacy, and engagement.
